Refund Policy
Last updated 5 August 2026
If Respond Pro is not what you wanted, email us within 14 days of being charged and we will refund it in full. No form, no reason required.
Try it before paying
Respond is free to use with no account and no time limit, so you can confirm it works on your computer and in the applications you use before spending anything. Respond Pro changes which translation engine is used; it does not unlock the product itself.
The 14-day refund
You can request a full refund of any Respond Pro payment within 14 days of that payment. Email support@withrespond.com from the address on your account and say you would like a refund. You do not need to explain why.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. We process them within two business days; your bank usually takes a further five to ten days to show it.
After 14 days
Past 14 days we do not refund payments already made, and we do not partially refund an unused part of a month. You can cancel at any time to stop the next payment, and you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Two exceptions, where we refund regardless of timing:
- A fault on our side. If Respond Pro was unusable because of a problem with our service and we could not fix it, we refund the affected period.
- We change or withdraw the product. If we materially reduce what Pro provides, or discontinue it, we refund the unused portion of the period you have paid for.
Cancelling
Open Respond, go to Settings, and choose Manage subscription. That opens the billing portal where you can cancel immediately. Cancelling stops future payments; it is not itself a refund request. If you also want the most recent payment refunded and you are within 14 days, email us and say so.
Duplicate and unrecognised charges
If you have been charged twice, or see a charge you do not recognise, contact us before disputing it with your bank. We will investigate and refund any error in full, which is faster for you than a chargeback.
Your legal rights
This policy sits on top of your rights under consumer law, and does not replace them. If you are in Australia, you have rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including to a remedy where a service is not supplied with due care and skill or is not fit for its stated purpose. Consumers elsewhere keep the equivalent protections of their own country's law, including any statutory cancellation period.
